Jute is a versatile and purposeful natural fibre, extracted from the jute plant cultivated mainly in South Asian countries. The jute plant typically grows in tropical lowlands with humidity of roughly 60% to 90% and requires little to no pesticides or fertilizers, as it is a rain-fed plant. Products made of jute fabrics are most sustainable, earth-friendly, and affordable. It can be used by itself and/or be incorporated with other fibres and materials to make a variety of products. Common and extensively used jute products are different types of bags, carpets, ropes, and handicrafts. Jute in all forms is 100% carbon-dioxide neutral and biodegradable.

Use of jute products not only reduces the dependency on harmful plastic or nonwoven products, but also increases planting more green plants leading to a greener planet.
